Our department of precision machining produces elements in aluminium, stainless steel and hardened carbon steels measuring a hardness of up to 66-68 HRC. We have lathes with sliding and steady headstocks with a controlled double mandrel, turrets with motorized Y axis tools and the latest generation of workcells with total surface areas up to 1700 x 760 mm.
Our Quality Inspection Unit carries out dimensional checks on all of our productions. They use optical measuring tools, contact measurement tools, and laser scanning tools. Parts supplied come with dimensional reports and quality certifications
STEEL MILLING – For our clients we produce small series of components made of stainless steel (mainly AISI304 and AISI316) and of hardened carbon steels measuring a hardness of up to 66-68 HRC. The quantity varies according to the client’s demand from a single piece to several hundreds of pieces per month.
We have several 3 and 4 axis workcells with surface areas measuring up to 1700 x 760 mm. In particular we have a state-of-the-art workcell (MIKRON MILL P900) made especially for working with materials which present very high levels of hardness and need great precision.
LATHE – Our lathe department produces serial components in quantities varying from a few units to several thousands of pieces per month.
The materials we primarily use are stainless steels AISI 303, 304 and 316 and aluminium alloys 2011, 6060 and 6082, but we also work with Xantal, bronze and carbon steels.
In addition to a series of manual lathes, the lathe department has two types of lathes available: lathes with sliding headstock and lathes with steady headstock.
LATHES WITH SLIDING HEADSTOCK – These are suitable for the production of components with a medium-small diameter (3 ÷ 25 mm), which also require milling, in medium to large quantities.
LATHES WITH STEADY HEADSTOCK – These are suitable for the production of components with a diameter measuring more than 20 mm, which also require milling, in small to medium quantities (200 ÷ 1000 pieces).
We can produce components from bars measuring up to 60 mm in diameter and from pieces measuring up to over 40 mm in diameter.
QUALITY CHECKS – The quality of our products is constantly monitored through strict inspection procedures.
Our Quality Checks Unit carries out dimensional checks through sampling, the latest generation of measuring tools and software.
These checks take place throughout the entire production process so as to guarantee the highest quality of the products.
